With 9-5 Socialgrupp 3 creates a paraphrase of a monotonous situation for the worker or the unemployed character. The monotony is reflected musically by a stubborn comp which drives by the sweat of one's brow.
With a brightly (richly) colored melody I venture to say this is a form of light-punk. Pessimistic outlook and darkness is not visible here, but rather a positive faith on an existence among heat and love, even though the thorns of the roses obstinately stinging.
Järntvätt’s (Iron-washes) “Infirmity of old age” can be classified as music in borderland to Heavy Metal, but with some uncommitted singing. The uncommitted singing can be supposed to be due to that the song deals with the subject to age without result – a circumstance which is indisputable and thus unassailable. We are all doomed to grow older, and it is up to ourselves to do something with our life.
Järntvätt (Iron-wash) continue in their song ”Brain-dead” the discussion of the existential issue on why people and particularly Swedes live pastiche, conventional, predictable life. This frustration which many times is brought up also in modern time by for example Broder Daniel (e.g. Shoreline) is according to me many times unfair and in a way an arrogant attitude by the artist. To have a gift for the creativeness and imaginative mind which these artists possess shouldn’t lead to frustration on lack of same talents for the man on the street.
This is high class musical engagement all the way, vocally as well as by lyrics as well as musically. This isn’t far away from musically greatness. The music is both aggressive and also carrying an undertone of sorrow. The thought continue – is this song based on a true story and what life stories have this lead to?
Anti-Hund Mina has the little extra that is required to create the unique sound to be a really great band. I think it is probable that the musicians of Anti-Hund Mina today is creative persons who still are musicians or working in another creative profession. Mothers boy is like She’s pregnant an excess in sad pessimism which convey the thoughts to surroundings from Klas Katt in Hell City.
Total Muzak delivers an angry little song which attacks the lack of communication. Also musically it is good.
A brilliantly miniature multifarious piece of music. What is it Spy want to escape from? From a party? From the life? From the work? What is ”Home”? An uncompromising hit on the jaw which doesn’t leave anybody unaffected.
A band that is endowed (blessed) with a clever drummer. Little difficult t find a clear thesis or message in the lyrics.
Pöbel Möbel is a splendid precursor to today’s trash metal bands. Praise to the noisy and grunting singing-voice which pioneering clear the way for the following trash music that came some decades later. It is musically very talented with a shape of darkness that is matchless.
Difficult to distinguish any phrase in the lyrics except the initial 1 2 3 4. Otherwise music that is full of go and a riff little song with clear Sex Pistols references.

Well-balanced and dynamic music, little difficult to interpret the message in the lyrics.
Great dynamic in the guitar sound. The rhythmic monotonous singing and the driving of the music creates strong associations’ to early work of Teddybears STHLM.
Beautifully produced and dynamic music probably created contemporary with Ulf Lundell’s glory days due to the singer’s vocal pitch and phrasing. The lyrics and the irritating melody and at least the perfect angry metallic sound in the end of the track express an anger on control of humans, that is an ongoing repeated theme in rebellious youth culture which glorify the person’s own dreams and initiative but feel a loathing for conventional behavior and stereotype ideal. The realization of the individual’s own dreams dissociation from the expectations of the normal society (compare the irritating ”It’s more fun to compute” by Kraftwerk) is certainly a good thing for the same (an issue that is today especially discussed by today’s big apostle Paulo Coelho), but from a worse point of view that might lead to the fall of the modern western society, because its progress first is executed when sufficient amount of persons move in the same direction. $$
Innovative sound picture in the intro consisting of oink, oink grunting and cutting scissors. The confused poetic lyrics are a kind of modern Spoken Word in Linköping dialect – probably with inspiration from the beatnik author William Burroughs.
A kind of punk-flamenco. The rhythmic, the castanets and the guitars make the mind fly away to Spanish sun coasts, at the same time as the lyrics is about a German closed grey city. This creates a really nice contrast with the conflict between the warm colorful and the boring grey, that is the topic young rebellious music usually is about.
Pretty good musically despite the performance becomes little mechanical without feeling, in addition there is no clear message according to my opinion, but it might be a purpose with this.
The dog shouts in the beginning of the song is clearly inspired by Iggy Pop from the Raw Power disc. The furious guitar sound should be worthy of great praise to be a source of inspiration to the thrash metal sound of today.
A band that has a good drummer that gives a sound that as a matter of fact reminds me on today’s Bloc Party (Silent Alarm) which sounding with its energetic drums gives a stroboscope effect.
This punk band tackles such advanced things as part-singing. Unfortunately the singing is a little unclear so it is difficult to distinguish the lyrics. Musically it is a little un-tight, if the band had given more time to rehearsal before this recording was made the result should be much better.
Innovative and fun intro followed by a brilliantly monotonous riff with nasty driving roll by the drummer. Also in this song Kurt I Kuvös try to work on with part-singing, that probably had been good if more practiced.
The sound forewarns on coming times with Krautrock and industry synthesizer a´la Einstürzende Neubauten. The singer shouts anxiety-ridden primal screams that gives a very suggestive and exciting effect in this musical inferno. Very interesting and innovative.
In this song you see a clear inspiration of early Black Sabbath. There is no doubt that Meat Eaters have a rather black view on the life. Today the band members are probably environmental lobbyists.
RTS presents an angry short song with the title Penalty with a multi dimension theme.
RTS shouts out its frustration over the merciless change, a perfect paraphrase on Coppola’s ”Apocalypse Now” and ”Allt Går Sönder” by Chinua Achebe.
Here the singer do his very best to create dissonance by sing in wrong tones and with phrasing which is out of time with the music. This creates precisely the sound view which is glorified within punk music so it is absolutely not any mistake. It is however impossible to make out just anyhow content in the lyrics.
